Two people are sitting across from each other making small talk and giggling nervously at the small gaps of silence.
They are both on their first date and for the life of them, they both wish that they had a clue of how things were going.
So, how do you pick up on your dates body language? How could you tell if he’s feeling the same way about you as you are towards him?
Have you noticed him making any eye contact with you at all? Was his glance warm and inviting or did it had a hint of lust and daydreaming?
Your eyes are the windows to the soul, so keeping track of where they are and what they’re looking at will be at is your first clue to determining what’s really on his mind about you.
But if your date has not looked up from his plate a single time since dinner arrived, or worse, is openly gazing passionately at the waitress, then you know that your date is not going well, and he’s not that interested in you.
On the other hand, if he looks up, makes eye contact with you frequently, smiles often and gestures about the scenery and how your enjoying the meal; you can rest assured that he’s interested in you.
Now, onto more intensive clues. Has your date initiated or reciprocated physical contact at all? Or, has every brush of flesh on flesh been met with a violent jerking away and look of sheer horror?
If your dates is placing his hand next to yours as he speaks with you, then he is more than likely expressing an interest in you.
Look for the touch of connection: he grabs both of your hands with his across the dinner table, and makes eye contact with you as he speaks.
It is a subtle signal, but an effective one. Of course, he could also take pride in the way he’s built too.
Ladies, has your date ever offered to loan you his jacket as the two of you take a stroll at night? This is usually a gesture of protectiveness.
When it’s properly done, it can be a sweet indicator of the fact that he is a caring man and a gentlemen.
However, if he does it wrong, it can lead to a fast acting slap attack that I believe is a natural reflex to touch across your booty.
But besides that, the perfect way to end your date has always been portrayed with a wonderful goodnight kiss. But how do you know if you’re even going to get that far or not?
This is where you should have been keeping a mental note of his body language, as there are strong signs to show that he really wants to kiss you goodnight.
Was he fiddling with his lips, as he walked closed to you. Perhaps even popping mints from the dinner table, while to two of you talked and smiled at each other.
Well if you manage to put the clues together, you shouldn’t be too surprise to know that your date really likes you, and is thinking about that first kiss with you just as much as you are.
So what do you say, will you let him be your prince charming tonight, or are you going to make him wait? Either way, you’re definitely on track to scoring another sweet date with him.
